Batana Oil

Source: Extracted from the nut of the American palm tree (Elaeis oleifera), primarily sourced from the La Moskitia region of Honduras.

Appearance & Texture: It is typically a rich, golden-brown to deep brown color with a buttery or semi-solid consistency at room temperature, similar to shea or cocoa butter. It melts easily when warmed.

• Scent: The oil has a unique, natural aroma, often described as nutty, earthy, or slightly smoky, depending on whether it was traditionally heat-extracted or cold-pressed.
